Industrial Gases - Air

Air is the gaseous mixture that surrounds the earth. Its composition varies with the altitude at which the sample is taken, but at sea level air contains approximately 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen by volume, with lesser amounts of argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, neon, helium, and other gases. Air is colorless, odorless, tasteless and non-toxic. It is also non-flammable but supports combustion.
